Summer is in full swing, and it is hot out there! Speaking of hot things, Microsoft just released last month the\u00a02023 Release Plan Wave 2<\/a>\u00a0for its\u00a0Power Platform<\/a>, which details updates coming between October 2023 and March 2024. Let\u2019s take a look at what\u2019s in the pipeline!<\/p>\n

Obviously, the most exciting thing for Power Apps is what\u2019s coming with Copilot. Two features are coming in public preview in October 2023 with no GA date set as of this writing.<\/p>\n

First, makers will be able to\u00a0use Copilot to write Power Fx formulas<\/a>\u00a0using natural language. Instead of spending hours figuring out that complex nested formula, you\u2019ll be able to ask Copilot to help! This feature was previously available as Power Apps Ideas, but it\u2019s getting updated and combined with Copilot for updates and consistency.<\/p>\n

The second upcoming feature is the ability to\u00a0use Copilot to build and edit apps<\/a>, primarily regarding design. Instead of manually updating all the labels in an app to have a font size of 18, you\u2019ll be able to tell Copilot to do it. Want to add a screen or a button?
