While this review is a bit behind the times (it is from August of last year) much of the content is relevant and accurate even with Docuware <\/strong>v7.7 now out. The first paragraph defining the basic features of a good DMS as well as all of the additional functionality that Docuware <\/strong>provides are all valid as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think that the major point that is missed here is integration. DMS is not as significantly valuable by itself. Yes, digitization with the stable and protected environment it provides is certainly peace of mind from a retention and probably compliance basis. But it should not stand in a vacuum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The odds are pretty good that content is connected in some way to another system in your world. Linking those two things together is where the real power is.
