How people use wearables reflects a broader trend of people using IoT<\/strong> devices as standalone technologies, rather than within an ecosystem of connected devices. As a result, IoT <\/strong>technology has not fully penetrated consumers\u2019 daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three main factors affect the lagging status of consumer IoT<\/strong> technology:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
